Quick information on how to apply an eon visa card and to how apply a paypal account(payment processor)
You already have an UnionBank EON CARD?
If you do not have one, go to the nearest Unionbank Branch and apply for it.Requirements:
- 2 valid IDs(xerox copy)
- Pay 350php for eon application.

- EON Card and/or Bank Account Number(You can sign up even without this card, later on after having it, just link it to your paypal account.)
- Valid E-mail address
- Valid Phone / Mobile number
- Valid postal mailing address which should be the same as the address indicated in your Unionbank EON card
Here is the step for you to get verified using the EON CARD:
1. Deposit money to your UnionBank EON Card at least $2.29 or 100php
The paypal will charge you $1.95 or 100php to your UnionBank account, this is just for verification purpose and it will credited back to you once the verification is done.

2. Next, Go to your Paypal Account and link your eon card number as "DEBIT CARD".
if you add it up successfully, you need to wait for your paypal code for you to get the $1.95 back to you. Just follow the instructions there and you will not get lost.

How to get the Paypal code?
Just call the hotline number after 2 to 3 working days and ask your paypal code and EXPUSE Number.

3. Then, after getting your paypal code or expuse number, log in again to your paypal and click the link my debit/credit card and enter the paypal code or expuse number., that's it! you will be prompted that your paypal has been verified! That's it:-)

I am from San Fernando, La Union and interested in applying for an EON card there in Baguio, although, there's a union bank branch here. would i be able to apply in BC even if i'm from LU?

I'm planning to get a Union Bank Eon Card because getting a Smart Money Card ( another option for Paypal verification)takes forever , specifically from the SMART Money Wireless Center in SM Baguio. They told me that I can get my SMART Money card within 2-3 weeks but it's almost two months and I still don't have it. Two weeks ago, I went to inquire at the center and was told by a SMART agent that I'll get a text from them informing me that I can pick up the card in a day or two but I haven't heard from them yet. Where do I lodge complaints on this? Why are SMART's glittery ads unable to match their service?
